DESCRIPTION:Designed by doctors for doctors\, the ACRRM Telehealth Clinical Skills Program aims to provide education and coaching on how best to conduct telehealth consultations in a variety of clinical settings. \nThe program offers an online education module of 4.5 hours CPD which you can do in your own time. It includes practical tips and guidance on how telehealth consultations should be introduced and managed in your practice. Importantly\, the module covers the clinical skills required to assess\, diagnose and manage your patients using phone or video consultations across a variety of different platforms. \nThe program also includes a live online workshop with two ACRRM medical educators experienced in using telehealth in their practice. Cases will be discussed giving you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in this peer group setting. \nThe College is offering 10 dates for the 90-minute workshop and each workshop is limited to 20 people. \nOur telehealth workshops are designed to cater to participants with varying levels of experience. Workshops 4\, 8\, and 9 are specifically tailored to users with a higher level of telehealth experience. These workshops will cover advanced skills and address complex questions\, while the other workshops are intended for those with comparatively less experience and who require more training. DESCRIPTION:Recognising the critical role general practice plays in keeping people well in the community\, WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) has committed to build the confidence and capability of primary care practitioners to support people experiencing alcohol and other drug issues. \nTo support this work\, WAPHA has launched WA’s first Project ECHO® Network\, on the topic of alcohol and other drugs (AOD)\, with the support of the RACGP WA and ECU’s Treating Alcohol and Other Drugs in Primary Care (TADPole). \nFollowing last months inaugural session\, the Project ECHO learning model will continue to deliver a series of expert-led\, online forums\, designed to support primary health care to work effectively with people using drugs and alcohol. \nThe forum with continue to meet every fourth Thursday of the month\, through videoconferencing platform Zoom. \nView the upcoming sessions below\, visit the Project Page for more information
