DESCRIPTION:Hepatitis C\, once believed to be a chronic\, incurable illness\, it now curable in almost all cases in as little as 12 weeks. Yet\, despite thousands of Australians now cured of hepatitis\, almost 170\,000 people are still believed to be living with chronic hepatitis C\, many unknowingly. New treatments\, with fewer side effects\, easier dosing regimens and better efficacy than older treatments have made curing hepatitis C easier than ever. \nThis workshop will update pharmacists on advancements in hepatitis C treatment with direct-acting antivirals (DAAs)\, and the role that pharmacists play in assisting patients with initiating and continuing therapy until disease resolution. Pharmacists will discuss case studies in small groups and will be provided with suggested pre-reading materials.

Every year\, hundreds of people of all ages and backgrounds across WA step behind their cameras to capture and submit an image from their day for Mosaic Capture Day.\nFrom Elizabeth Quay to Esperance\, Applecross to Albany\, each photograph tells an individual story about each of our participants.
