The Mental Health Gender Gap: Getting women’s mental health on the map

19 July 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

If you’re a woman, you are 58% more likely to experience mental illness compared to men (2021, ABS). This is a largely known fact.

But this year we uncovered that 1 in 2 women in Australia are currently experiencing mental illness in 2022!

It’s important that we raise the profile of women’s mental health and get the mental health gender gap on the map! The Liptember Foundation committed to undertaking a National Women’s Mental Health Research Study in 2022 with the focus purely on women and their specific mental health needs – and now the results are in.

Join us and an amazing panel of women as we unpack even more findings from this year’s Women’s Mental Health Research with an interactive Webinar panel discussion.
