Practice Assist

Practice Assist provides advice and support to general practices to help enhance their sustainability, viability and to improve patient outcomes by freeing up practice owners, principals and managers to do what they do best – care for their patients. Their service is provided free-of-charge to all general practices across Western Australia.

The Practice Assist Tool Kit provides a comprehensive range of materials to help improve all aspects of running a general practice. They can provide additional advice and support over the phone, via email or can visit your practice if you have more complex needs.

Practice Assist provide regular workshops and webinars on various aspects of practice management including: utilising the Medicare Benefits Schedule, preparing for general practice accreditation, digital health options, the Practice Incentive Program and more.

Professional Services for Practices

Rural Health West has partnered with RSM Bird Cameron and HLS Legal to provide primary care practice owners in rural Western Australia with access to a complimentary one-off consultation for professional services.

Practice Principals/Owners whose practices have been affected by COVID-19 can access one of the following professional services;

One-hour session with RSM Bird Cameron. Session may cover contemporary and accurate financial information for practices; cash flows and budgets; and/or access to government stimulus packages.

Or

30-minute session with HLS Legal. Session may cover employment/contractor related questions arising from COVID-19; engaging contractors; and/or the JobKeeper Scheme, stand downs or redundancies.

RSM Bird Cameron and HLS Legal understand rural health practice and are well placed to provide advice and guidance.
