Community Recovery Training – Goldfields

This two-day professional development workshop is specifically designed for all local government people and other stakeholders who may be involved in emergency recovery.
Incorporating best-practice, the training promotes a community led approach, adheres to the National Principles of Disaster Recovery and is augmented by a desktop discussion exercise.
With a focus across short, medium and long term recovery the training explores the physical and psychological challenges which affected communities may face after a disaster. Full of activities and discussion opportunities, the training will provide you an opportunity to consider practical aspects of community recovery whilst networking with fellow recovery workers.

Cancellation policy
The cancellation policy is in keeping with that of the International Program at Australian Red Cross:
“A 50% penalty applies for cancellation within five business days of the course start. A 20% admin fee is charged for all earlier cancellations and for all changes within five business days of the course start. No refund is given for non-attendance without notification.”
