Curing Hepatitis C in Primary Care
This update will focus on case finding, testing, patient assessment and treatment of hepatitis C infection in primary care settings.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify priority populations for hepatitis C testing
• Interpret test results and diagnose hepatitis C appropriately
• Assess for liver fibrosis and other comorbidities
• Communicate information confidently to actively engage individuals in decisions about their treatment and care

Target Audience: GPs, primary health care professionals, nurses, health care workers in drug or alcohol settings, health care workers in prison settings.
RACGP Points: This activity has been approved by the RACGP QI&CPD program. Allocated 2 pts/hour, total CPD points 4 (Category 2) points.
