DV-alert Multicultural 2-day Workshop

What is DV-Alert?
DV-alert is a nationally recognised training program that provides skills to respectfully Recognise, Respond and Refer cases of family violence to relevant support services and is funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS).

Is DV-Alert an Accredited Workshop?
Participants that are assessed as competent will receive an accredited Statement of Attainment for the unit CHCDFV001 – Recognise and Respond Appropriately to Domestic & Family Violence.
The training is structured to support assessment and training delivery against the relevant unit of competency and qualifications in Community Services CHC v3.

Who is Eligible?
This workshop is open to frontline workers in Australia. This includes people who provide direct service and support to the community (paid or unpaid) in sectors like health, allied health, education, childcare, and community.
For nurses, DV-alert is recognised to account for significant number of points for Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Participants are eligible for support for travel and accommodation costs (maximum claim of $400), as well as support payments to assist with staff backfill.
