Pitch Your Pilot

WA Country Health Service (WACHS) employees are invited to submit ideas to improve the way we work or create more positive outcomes for country communities in the third ‘Pitch Your Pilot’ program. Whilst the program is open to WACHS staff, collaborative ideas engaging in partnerships are encouraged.
The program aims to enable innovative ideas led by WACHS staff to bring about a positive change, tested in a contained environment. Here are just few examples of how WACHS Pitch Your funding has enabled the trial of some great ideas:
  • Trial of virtual reality goggles for pain diversion in paediatric patients when undergoing a medical procedure in an emergency department.
  • The BACKUP service is a pilot program that uses WACHS Command Centre technology for senior nurses to provide support and guidance to our grads, helping our newest nurses to navigate the challenging first stages of their careers.
If you have an idea email the WACHS Research and Innovation team via WACHSResearchandInnovation@health.wa.gov.au
Idea submissions are open now through March 2022.
