The Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend provides participants with the opportunity to learn about the management of medical emergencies in a remote environment with limitation in equipment, personnel and resources. Participants will learn in a supportive environment that encourages relevant, practical and self-directed approach to learning. Participants will develop their practical skills and professional abilities such as teaching, teamwork, leadership and dealing with stress and uncertainty.
