4-5 May 2022, 9am-4:30pm

Presenter Danni Cameron, a Yuiberra woman from the Yuwi Country of the Birragubba Nation, is a master MHFA facilitator and will be facilitating the Adult focused course. Her passion for culture and mental health started early when she watched her family try to navigate the mental health system yet failed to get support. Her unique gift in providing this resource through storytelling and a trauma-informed approach fits perfectly within this community and will benefit all our efforts in reducing stigma around mental health, suicide prevention and assist in building community capacity which helps in closing the gap of disposition our community too often fall victim to.

This is a FREE (and catered) PD event . All learning resources, manuals and giveaways will be included during the two-day course.

Expression of interests and any questions can be sent to healthpromotions@bega.org.au by COB Friday

More information about the course can be found here
