All people with diabetes are recommended to have a sick day plan but what are the special considerations for a woman with Gestational Diabetes if she becomes unwell? An individualised sick day plan for a woman with gestational diabetes will help to keep both her and the baby safe and this session will look at what needs to be considered.

This workshop has been designed with a focus on GPs, to diagnose patients with acute stress disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and other comorbidities. Evidence based guidelines will be used as the foundation to appropriately diagnose and identify treatment pathways including recommended referrals, trauma focused psychological therapy and psychological first aid to help support their management of emergency service workers. ASHM has been made aware of an increased number of cases mainly overseas (including Europe and the USA) with two confirmed cases in Australia of monkeypox, a rare zoonotic viral infection. From some early reports, recent cases have been detected in gay, bisexual and men who have sex with men, anecdotally some presenting through sexual health services. It is not considered to be an STI, however differential diagnosis is important.
