On September 12, Hope and Community Services started placing ‘little pantries’ around the town of Esperance after the success of the program in Kalgoorlie. Similar to roadside ‘library boxes’, these little pantries contain small non-perishable foods as well as hygiene products that have been donated. These items can be taken by people in need. Donations can be made either directly into the pantries or, if they are full, to Hope and Community Services on Dempster Street, Esperance.
